Plant and Provisioning Specialist

Consolidated Telephone Company has an immediate opening for a Plant and Provisioning Specialist.


The Plant and Provisioning Specialist coordinates the response to customer service requests by interfacing with other connecting companies to provide service, follow through and verify completion of installation and resolve any related customer service issues that occur during the provisioning process. Maintains facility data using company tools, including plant record systems, network drives, eLation, Qwest IMA, NOC360 and facility management programs. Ensures the accuracy of records to increase the efficient use of facilities, equipment and the network. Provide “special studies and projects” of the network when requested by management. Maintains and oversees plant records, service order forms, subscriber record data, and preparation of work orders. A strong eye for details, as well as keen organizational and communication skills are needed.


Education and Experience:  High School diploma or the equivalent in training and experience. Advanced knowledge of telephony is preferred but not required.

CTC Board of Directors

Consolidated Telephone Company (CTC) is accepting applications from members who are interested in joining the CTC Board of Directors for Director District 5 – CTC competitive local exchange areas including Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Crosby, Little Falls, Long Prairie, Aitkin and greater Minnesota competitive exchange areas.


Interested individuals must meet the following qualifications:

  • Be a member in good standing and subscribe to CTC telephone service.
  • Reside within District 5 service territory.
  • Have the skills, interest and time to devote to overseeing CTC business.
  • Attend 12 monthly meetings, plus other industry assemblies and training.

Members of the CTC Board of Directors are responsible for representing the Cooperative membership and for developing strategies, policies and objectives for the Cooperative.
